2. Account Registration & Security

3.2 SAM.gov API Keys
Some plans require you to provide your own SAM.gov API key ("Bring Your Own Key" or BYO Key). You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining a valid API key from SAM.gov. We store your key using AES-256-GCM encryption and use it solely to query SAM.gov on your behalf.

5. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, and materials provided through the Services are the property of Insight Consulting Partners LLC or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without our prior written consent.
Data retrieved from third-party sources (e.g., SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, FPDS) is subject to the terms and conditions of those respective sources. We do not claim ownership of third-party government data.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.

7.3 Refunds
Refunds, if any, are governed by your individual agreement. If you experience a significant service outage or billing error, contact us at info@insightconsultingtech.com and we will evaluate your request on a case-by-case basis.
8. Service Availability & Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free access to the Services
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data from third-party sources (SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, FPDS, Federal Register, GAO, DOGE, CourtListener, or any other public data source we query on your behalf)
- That the Services will meet your specific requirements
9. Third-Party AI Clients & AI-Generated Content
The ContractHub MCP (Model Context Protocol) connector is designed to be used with third-party AI assistants including but not limited to Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Cursor, Zed, Windsurf, and any other MCP-compatible client you choose. You acknowledge and agree that:
- We do not operate, control, or endorse any third-party AI client. Any AI-generated text, analysis, summary, recommendation, answer, citation, or other output produced by the AI client after receiving data from ContractHub is generated by that third-party AI, not by us.
- AI outputs may contain errors, hallucinations, fabrications, or misrepresentations of the underlying data. AI systems are probabilistic and can produce inaccurate or misleading results even when the input data is correct. You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated content before relying on it for business, legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, or other consequential decisions.
- Conversation logs, prompts, and AI outputs reside with the AI client provider, not with us. Anthropic, OpenAI, and other AI providers have their own data retention, training, and privacy policies. We do not receive, store, or have access to the content of your AI conversations. Your use of any AI client is governed by that provider's terms of service and privacy policy, which you should review separately.
- We disclaim all liability for AI client behavior. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for any action, decision, output, misinterpretation, or loss arising from your use of any AI client, whether or not that client was querying ContractHub at the time.
10. Third-Party Data Sources & Accuracy
ContractHub retrieves data in real time from public federal and commercial data sources (including but not limited to SAM.gov, USAspending.gov, FPDS, Federal Register, GAO, DOGE, and CourtListener). You acknowledge:
- We pass data through; we do not create it. The accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and legal effect of any record retrieved through the Services is the responsibility of the originating data source. We make no representations as to whether a record is current, correct, authoritative, or suitable for any particular purpose.
- Federal data sources are subject to outages, WAF blocks, schema changes, rate limits, and upstream errors beyond our control. A successful ContractHub query does not imply the underlying source returned complete or correct data.
- Data retrieved through the Services remains subject to the originating source's terms of use. You are responsible for complying with those terms, including any restrictions on redistribution, commercial use, or bulk extraction.
- We do not warrant the data for regulatory, legal, or audit purposes. If you need data certified for a regulatory, legal, compliance, or audit use case, obtain it directly from the authoritative source.
11. User Responsibility for Derived Outputs
You are solely responsible for any document, report, proposal, analysis, recommendation, decision, bid, filing, submission, contract interpretation, compliance determination, or other output you create, distribute, or act upon that is based in whole or in part on ContractHub data or AI-generated content derived from ContractHub data. This includes without limitation:
- Capture and proposal materials for federal solicitations
- Past-performance narratives, teaming analyses, and incumbent research
- Compliance determinations under FAR, DFARS, or agency-specific regulations
- Pricing, bid/no-bid, and investment decisions
- Any representation made to a government customer, prime contractor, subcontractor, teaming partner, regulator, auditor, investor, or court
You agree to verify critical facts against authoritative sources before relying on any AI-generated or ContractHub-derived output. We are not a substitute for legal counsel, a certified compliance professional, a licensed financial advisor, a certified public accountant, or any other licensed professional, and nothing produced through the Services constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting, compliance, or investment advice.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Insight Consulting Partners LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to (i) your use of the Services, (ii) your use of any third-party AI client in connection with the Services, (iii) any AI-generated content, or (iv) any data retrieved from or through the Services, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, goodwill, contract awards, or reputation, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Insight Consulting Partners LLC, its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, judgments, settlements, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees and costs) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Services, including any ContractHub data you retrieve, redistribute, or rely upon
- Your use of any third-party AI client with the Services and any AI-generated output you create, share, or act upon
- Any proposal, filing, submission, representation, or other output you produce using ContractHub data or AI-generated content, including submissions to federal agencies, prime contractors, regulators, or courts
- Your violation of these Terms, any third-party terms of service (including AI client providers and originating data sources), or any applicable law or regulation
- Your violation of any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
